How to delete your account
There are two ways to close your account. Both have the same result — choose whichever is easier for you.
Method 1 — From inside the app
- Open the Pinoyaya app and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm your choice — your account closes immediately.
Method 2 — Request by email
- Email support@pinoyaya.com from the address linked to your account.
- Use the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
- We may ask one or two questions to verify your identity.
- We respond within 15 working days, usually much sooner.
What gets deleted, and when
Once your account is closed, we begin a 90-day deletion process. During that window the account is suspended — no one can see your profile or messages, and you can't sign in. If you change your mind, contact us within 90 days to restore it. After 90 days, your data is permanently deleted, except for the limited records below that we are legally required to keep.

Before you delete
Account deletion is permanent after 90 days. If you have an active access pass, deletion does not refund the remaining days. If you only want to stop notifications or take a break, you can turn off marketing in Settings → Notifications instead — your account stays active and your data is preserved.
Your reviews and ratings
Reviews and ratings you gave to other users remain visible after your account is deleted, but they appear as "from a former user" — your name and profile photo are removed.
Reviews and ratings other users gave to you are deleted together with your account.
Your in-app messages
Your side of every conversation is deleted within 90 days. The other party may still see their copy of the chat history (which contains your past messages), as is standard for any messaging product. They cannot see your profile, contact you, or identify you further.
